Or it might just be sticking and finally opens at a much higher temp. But I would also be sure you don't have something plugged or blocked in the coolant system too. Only one test left, release the air line to be sure there is no air in it and still locked, then start up and see if the air line blasts. That will confirm the fan. Thats the swtich that will turn the fan on when the A/C is on and say your not moving to get air flow. Unplug the swtich and put a jumper wire on it and if the fan stops you found your porblem.
