WebIt’s normal, bottom cover pushes on the thermal module, that’s why there is the cushion tape. But if you get no fan error without bottom cover then I would take a look underneath the fan, there might be some debris that’s blocking the fan. If you’ll take it out, make sure the two thermal pads are installed correctly when you put it back together. •
